About Us
Established in 1818, Bethany stands as a beacon of God's faithfullness and provision. We are located only a mile from Hwy 301 and about 10 miles from Hwy 95.
Each Sunday and Wednesday our Pastor shares the Word of God with compassion and fervency. He has a burden for missions and seeing the lost won to Christ. We enjoy soul-stirring music and worship each service.
There are many ways you can get involved at Bethany FWB Church, either through the youth and music ministries, or the senior saints ministry. You could volunteer in the Nursery or Busy Bee Bundles. Ladies can join a circle group and enjoy monthly fellowship as well as outreach opportunities.

History of Bethany FWB Church
Established in 1818, Bethany FWB Church was known as the Pine Log Church.
Our Ministries
Sunday School
With classes for all ages Nursery, Primary, Middle School, High School, College & Career, Young Married Couples, Married Couples, Several Mens and Women's Classes, and Senior Saints.
Sunday Morning and Evening Worship
Come worship the Lord with us at 11:00am and 6:00pm.
Music Ministry
Our Music Minster uses a mix of traditional hymns and choruses during the services. Our choir praises the Lord each Sunday morning and practices Wednesday night after Bible Study. We are blessed to have such talented musicians in our church who help to prepare our hearts for the message God has for us.
Senior Saints Ministry
Our senior saints meet monthly for a time of singing, deviotion, fellowship, and food. They enjoy several trips which vary each year. This year they traveled to the Billy Graham Museum, Nashville, and the Santee River.
Youth Ministry
With children's church for those a little too old for the nursery up to kindergarten, junior church for first through sixth grade, teen group for seventh grade through twelth we are excited to offer each of these programs for your children. Each Sunday morning the children's and junior churches meet during the worship hour. Throughout the month we have several activities for the juniors and teens. Each summer we hold our Vacation Bible School and attend Junior and Teen Camps. Our prayer is that through each of these activities your children would seek God with their whole heart and love Him more.
Nursery
Infants and toddlers alike enjoy our nursery. With experienced ladies taking care of the children during the worship services, parents are able to get the most out of each service. The children will enjoy coloring, snacks, and Bible Lessons.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Each Wednesday night we have a time of studying the Bible where the adults meet in the auditorium. The juniors and teens meet in the education building and then separate into age appropriate classes to learn more about God's Word and enjoy a time of fellowship.
Busy Bee Bundles
This is similar to our nursery ministry but it meets on Wednesday nights.
Van Ministry
We are so greatful for the children we are able to pick up on the van each Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesday night.
Women's Ministry
Our ladies of Bethany are involved in the Women Nationally Active for Christ. We have three circle groups that meet once a month, the Granger circle, the Kriby Circle, and the Vause circle. The ladies also enjoy the annual Ladies Retreat.
Missions
At Bethany we believe in the importance of reaching people for Christ. Not only do we want to see His name proclaimed in our community, but we also want His name spread to every corner of the earth. That is why the first Sunday of each month is designated as missions Sunday where we concentrate on giving to Home and Foreign missionaries.
