Knowing Christ as your Savior is having a personal relationship with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Christ has made His plan of salvation easy enough for a child to understand.

A-Admit

First, you must recognize that you have sinned (done things against God's Word).  You must ADMIT that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

B-Believe

Next, you must BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and rose again three days later to give you eternal life.
Acts 16:31 "...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved..."

C-Confess

Finally, you must CONFESS (tell) Christ through prayer that you are a sinner, that you believe He died and rose for you, and ask Him to forgive you of your sins, then thank Him for the free gift of salvation.
Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt beleive in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead; thou shalt be saved."

You can also CONFESS (tell) others of your commitment to follow Christ.
Luke 12:8 "Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:"
